Narjes Hashemi is a PhD student in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education at the Faculty of Education in McGill University. Her research interests include social justice education, equity in education, education in multicultural societies, development education and immigrant/refugee integration in Canada. Her doctoral project will explore the Educational Trajectories of Afghan Refugee Youth in three Canadian Urban Centres: Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Her publications include:
